How do I call out from a Temporary Number?

If you get a call from an unknown number and you want to call them back, you want to make sure you’re protecting your phone number. Firewall lets you call someone from a Temporary Number so that the person sees the Caller ID of the Temporary Number instead of your main cell number.

To call out from a Temporary Number, tap Call, then enter the number you want to call and tap the phone icon. Tap Call with a Temporary Number and a VoIP call will initiate from a Temporary Number. The recipient of the call will see the Caller ID of the Temporary Number, not your cell phone number. If you want to call out from your cell number, just tap Call From iPhone.

You can also call back a number from the Recents page by selecting a number, tapping Call (222) 333-444, and then choosing to Call with a Temporary Number.

Please note that anyone you call from a Temporary Number will not be able to call you back by dialing the Temporary Number.
